1930ca Ruby Star Cabochon and Silver Bracelet

Year: 1930

Description: A true Art Deco design, this stunning cabochon ruby star and silver bracelet would look perfect on your wrist for that special occasion. The 7 cabochons range from .375" wide and .5" high to .25" wide and .375" high. Each is set into a 4 prong sterling setting linked together with 4 silver links on each side of the row of ruby stars. There is a sturdy tongue in groove latch with the added safety of a chain. The wearable length is 6.5", which could be lengthened, if needed, by adding silver links. The color of these gems is a rich plum and falls between a ruby red and sapphire blue color of the mineral corundum, which gives us both rubies and sapphires. It could be debated whether this is a ruby star or a sapphire star, but there is no debate that this is a gorgeous bracelet and another fine antique offered by Chancery Lane Antiques, Inc. $570.00
